Bill Hinson, Inc. originated in 1972 on Geyer Springs Road in Little Rock, Arkansas beginning as an individually-owned, "captive" agency by Bill Hinson. Bill Hinson started the agency as a direct writer for MFA. And, in 1982, after experiencing the burden of being pressured to operate in an inharmonious capacity as "employee" of the company and "employee" or representative of the client, the agency terminated its present direct contract with MFA and went forth with many, independent companies with our first company being Safeco whom we still represent.

In becoming an independent agency we are better able to serve our client's needs and have greatly enhanced the flexibility of management. In 1994 we added Chenal Insurance to our name after having added a second location in west Little Rock.
